Begin with small talk
Seems likes RM1 coin is no longer valid for trade in Malaysia, according to news source.
I know it’s late to talk about this, recently my good friend ch lee gave me his latest 23 minutes short movie. Encontró with tagline Find it… before it’s too late. I guess the whole production is relying solely by him, hardness of deliver in a whole really impresses me, and you sure need lotsa passion and ideas to run it.

This short movie is about a bloke had a sudden lust to open a locked drawer finding something in urge, thus poking around and started series of search incidents where the funs aroused. The hidden content in that drawer intrigued me at very beginning of the scenes. The short bloke unable to figure out where that damn key was. He is then scrounging around the room, place to hang out, and an Indian barber shop(featuring some friendly villagers) for a missing key.
Surprisingly the hidden subject in the mysterious locked drawer is agitate viewer about a conceal message which bring the sensation of found (I was told that ‘encontró’ is a Spanish word which mean found.) and feels serendipity. Although it’s a hobbyist project still I’m astounded with capabilities of my friend with great interpretation of filming and movie. It was clearly firm skills in script plot with weirdest idea ever. I have a good laugh on that surprising easy to ignore message even though it’s involving money, still not much hint to guess la put more riddle behind the scene ma.
A better mix of background music would be lucrative in bring out harmony stream of the film. Most of the music too melodious of instrument may consider song or even super exaggerate rock music hehehe. Some over reacting move of the actor which intent to show direction and emotion of the subject was pretty ineptitude and should lure attention in a natural manner. I believe nothing is prefect without intersperse of imperfectness.
By the way learnt from several scenes, there is some road named “Jalan Mati” (dead end). It does not mean dead end but it is the name of that road. Probably the town planner ran out of brain juice when try to give a name for a new road, therefore bestowed a strange name. or in other case something fishy happen there lol.
